Event planning in support of Sierra Club Orange-Chatham Group, duties to include researching best practices for sustainable events and helping to implement those ideas for events The NC Sierra Club's Orange-Chatham Group is one of the state's 14 local groups, organizing educational events and other activities related to climate, clean energy, and other issues impacting our environment in NC. Our group serves over 1600 members in Alamance, Caswell, Chatham and Orange counties. Sierra Club outings, social events, and meetings are open to the general public. Volunteer Needs/Activities Volunteers are needed to assist with event planning and promotion. Tasks include event planning, sign-making, and social media outreach.
