During this amazing volunteer event, children and adults were divided into several groups where they were asked to help clean up East Lawson street also known as Mcdougal Terrace in Durham , for approximately 2-3 hours in order to help the community regain its cleanliness before back to school. After the clean up process was completed, the students were then asked to pair with an adult and they talked/learned about the importance of maintaining a clean community for themselves and others
