Share your passion for education while utilizing your skills and talents at Discovery Place. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available year-round at our family of Museums, including Discovery Place Kids-Rockingham. Through play experiences, Discovery Place Kids-Rockingham provides opportunities for kids to be creative and learn to explore their world. Immersive and interactive stations throughout the two-story Museum allow kids to be a firefighter, a vet, and so much more. With activities that stimulate all five senses, opportunities for fun are limitless. Our volunteers work with visitors on the Museum floor, behind the scenes helping the Museum smoothly function and in the community as ambassadors for our educational programs and services. Volunteers are vital to our success.
