Student Environmental Education Coalition (SEEC)
Description

The Student Environmental Education Coalition is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving environmental literacy through education and empowering youth to become environmental leaders. Branches of the organization exist primarily in the Triangle area of North Carolina and in some other states across the country. Throughout the year, SEEC provides unique opportunities for students to engage in environmentalism, mentors youth through interactive and curriculum-based instruction, teaches interdisciplinary seminars, and holds a free annual summer camp called NatureWay for elementary school children. By offering a myriad of exciting experiences for young people, we can empower future leaders to bring about change in the subsequent generations that will be most affected by environmental issues. We envision a global community in which people of all ages understand their shared responsibility to work towards a cleaner and more sustainable world.

Volunteer Activities
Currently, high school students can volunteer to assist with SEEC's NatureWay 2021 summer camp.
