SCORE (the Summer Chorus Orchestra and Rhythm Extravaganza) is a summer music program designed for students in grades 1-9 who have preferably had at least one year of music instruction or experience. We offer opportunities for a limited number of experienced high-school-aged students to earn community service hours working side-by-side with campers as counselors and mentors. More advanced instruction is also provided to participants as a part of the Mentor Program. Mentors assist with organizing logistics such as facility maintenance and stage set-up as well as supervising and escorting young music students in between their activities throughout the camp day. During each week of our program, music students of all levels and backgrounds explore a diverse array of music, build lasting friendships, and learn to grow together as musicians and as human beings.
