Carolina Friends School
Description

CFS was founded in the early 1960s as one of the first intentionally racially-integrated schools in the South. We have approximately 500 students ages 3 to 18 on our 126-acre campus between Durham and Chapel Hill and at two other satellite locations. Our mission says, "Inspired by Quaker values...we teach our children that it is possible to change the world."
