Description

The Youth Action Team is part of the Michigan-based chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL), a non-profit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national climate policy. The Youth Action Team engages volunteers under the age of 18 in building political will for climate solutions through education, peer collaboration, and advocacy. Participants support local and national climate efforts, connect with like-minded youth, and gain experience in civic engagement and environmental leadership.

Volunteer Activities
Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in climate education, advocacy campaigns, and peer-led outreach projects. Activities may include writing letters to elected officials, attending local events, supporting social media efforts, and collaborating with fellow youth on climate action initiatives. Volunteers will gain experience in civic engagement, public speaking, and environmental leadership.
