Mission - The mission of the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine (CUSOM) is to educate and prepare community–based osteopathic physicians in a Christian environment to care for the rural and underserved populations in North Carolina, the Southeastern United States and the nation. Values - Our faculty, staff and students value teamwork, leadership, professionalism, integrity, diversity, and the ethical treatment of all humanity. Department of Simulation Medicine – The mission of the Center is to improve patient care by leveraging innovative teaching principles to educate current and future healthcare providers in a safe, patient-centered environment. Through immersive education, the Center seeks to improve the quality of care in the communities we serve in North Carolina, the Southeastern United States and the nation.

Volunteer Activities
This volunteer opportunity supports the Department of Simulation Medicine. There will be a variety of tasks, projects and learning opportunities for the volunteers to participate in which support the Simulation Center’s administrative and educational needs. Participants will have opportunities to interact with medical faculty and students and learn about how summer educational programs are developed and administered.
