Hope For Kajiado, a 501(c) 3 non-profit supports Kajiado Children’s Home, located 3 hours southwest of Nairobi, Kenya. Since opening in 1997, the home has provided loving, Christian care, shelter, food, clothing, medical assistance, and educational support. As of April 2024, our work will expand to include a K-6 primary school serving both the children in our care and those of the surrounding community. Hope For Kajiado also supports the Light Foundation which provides scholarships for refugee children from the Congo to attend school in a Christian environment. Our Board of Directors is made up of a group of dedicated volunteers. No one receives any compensation which means 100% of donations go directly to the mission. We are always in need of volunteers to help in our efforts to raise funds and spread awareness of the needs of Kenya's most vulnerable. We also organize yearly mission trips which provide an incredible opportunity to work with children and youth directly as well as minister to the surrounding Maasai community.
