United Strings of Color
Description
Classical string players of color participate in the United Strings of Color to encourage everyone to play classical music on stringed instruments. They learn about Black Music History, learn pieces by composers of color and present educational concerts to the public.
Volunteer Activities
United Strings of Color participants rehearse for 1.5 hours weekly and present numerous concerts through out the year. Last season they played over 20 events to a total audience of more than 2000 people
