Chatham Education Foundation (Chatham Reads)
Description
Chatham Education Foundation strengthens communities in Chatham County, NC by partnering with community residents, businesses, and foundations to improve education opportunities for public school students. Our mission is to engage our community as public school advocates and to raise funds and resources to support innovation and education excellence in the Chatham County Schools.
Volunteer Activities
Replenish Chatham Reads Little Libraries (currently 8) that are situated across Chatham County. Sort and pack books for distribution to agencies, schools, and families. Sorting occurs at our office in the CCS Professional Learning Center behind Horton MS.
