Church Hill Medical Clinic
Description
A free medical clinic that provides medical care to its local community and runs off a volunteer-based staff. It is supplied through both local donations and through contracted companies and regularly has multiple physicians, pharmacists, therapists, and nurses working to provide excellent health care for those who need it.
Volunteer Activities
During my time here I worked in the pharmacy and was able to support the rest of the workers by handling the smaller more monotonous tasks. These tasks included, transporting patient charts from bookkeeping to where they were needed, filling prescriptions, assisting pharmacists when they counseled patients on medications, and working closely with the rest of the medical staff to ensure patient information was correct.
