What is the CAC? The CAC is a comfortable, safe, child-friendly place where young victims of abuse and neglect and their families come to have a forensic interview and receive referrals for medical care, therapy services, and other resources they may need. What do we do? We provide forensic interviews, which are neutral, fact-finding, non-leading interviews provided by specially trained individuals. We also provide referrals for other resources and follow-up care, including court accompaniment. What can you do? The CAC needs volunteers for fundraising events, monetary donations, and in-kind donations (such as gently used stuffed animals, paper products, and cleaning products) to keep the center running.
