Description
Puppet Show Incorporated is a mobile puppetry theater dedicated to promoting and perserving puppetry arts an a form of artistic expression. Puppet Show Inc. offers puppetry programs at reduced or in some cases no cost so that all chidren may have the opportunity to experience live theater. All the puppetry programs are aligned with the NC Teaching Standards and foster Social Emotional Skills and teach Character Education Traits.
Volunteer Activities
Volunteers work in the free community puppetry programs based in libraries and/or community settings. Volunteers read stories to children, assist children in creating puppets, set up arts and crafts materials, greet families, interact with families, take photographs/videos of the children attending the program ( after obtaining parental permission) collect parent surveys and other duties associated with the puppetry programs.
