Miracle League of the Triangle
Description

The Miracle League of the Triangle is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization operating as a baseball league for children and adults with special needs. Our one-of-a-kind program provides a safe and positive place for individuals with special needs to play a team sport, often for the first time. Our customized fields feature adapted infrastructure, ample handicap parking, and a synthetic sport surface accessible to wheelchairs and walkers. Most importantly, they offer a place for hundreds of players with special needs to participate in a league of their own.

Volunteer Activities
Our program offers over 4,000 volunteer opportunities between the 8-week seasons held each spring and fall. Volunteer coaches and “buddies” work one-on-one with the players, emphasizing safety and fun. Announcers, DJs, scoreboard operators, and umpires add to the wonderful experience that goes beyond a regular baseball game.
